Steven,

I placed my script in /etc/rc.d/init.d where all other script are placed
by deault during installation.  I then run the `setup` utility and choose
"system services".  Any file you place in /etc/rc.d/init.d will appear in
the list.

Once you toggle your script to on, the `setup` program will
automatically create the proper symbolic links for you.  I used to do
things manually too... but this is much quicker and less chance for a
mistake!
