Client connection in windows 2000

I have installed and configured Samba on AIX 4.3.3 and it appears to be correct.

I have done tests (smbclient -L ... and smbclient file://server/share -U) and i can
connect and see shared resources.

When i try to connect from a Windows 2000 client i obtain a message like :
"you have authorization to acces from this client with this user". The client that is connected on windows 2000 is defined in  AIX and   exists  in  /var/samba/private/smbpasswd

What's wrong in the client/samba server configuration?
