Extreme samba newbie needs help

add this lines in the global section

host allow = 192.168.0. 127.0.0.
smb passwd file = /etc/smbpasswd

and after create the smbpasswd

cd /etc/
cat passwd | mksmbpasswd.sh > /etc/smbpasswd

i don't remember if slackware got the mksmbpasswd script
