calling script when file is written

Hi

I want add a little feature to the samba-server - calling a script when a
file has been written.
I found in smbd/close.c a function check_magic(*fsp, *conn) called in
close_normal_file.

Have I only add in param/loadparam add my new param
and call checkmagic in close_normal_file ?

something like preexec but for writing a file.

Can you please send me a mail if this is the right way and/or have you a
better idea?
