Hi All,
I want to create all files and dirs with 775 access. I have put a
create mask, directory mask, force create mode and force directory mode
on some shares and it still creates the files with 754 rights, what is
wrong? Am I reading the man page wrong, isn't that what those are
supposed to do is force the correct rights? Do I need the parent
directory 2xxx mode?
Also why can't I change perms on NT of files that reside on a samba
server. When I go to properties and hit the security tab and go into
permissions and try and change the permissions as the owner, it change
fine but when I reopen that permissions window is it back to original,
any clues?
I am running samba 2.0.7 on linux 2.2.14
Thanks
Glenn
