I wrote a set of Perl scripts which I used for remote 
software installation.  I know Dave Roth (wrote a couple
of the more popular Perl win32 modules) has done 
a similar thing.

I need to see if i can package up the scripts and docs
and release it under the GPL.  If you are interested, I'll
poke around.
