Having user home browsable (but not "Homes")

This is certainly as I expected, but homes were not showing up.  Perhaps
it was just the behavior of one flaky Windows client (which gets an error
browsing the network neighborhood about 2 times out of 4 tries); I'll
disable browsing and check other clients.
