Hi Anyone know what causes this in the log PAM_pwdb[some number]: 1 authentication failure; (uid=0) ->username for samba service however the user is then logged on & no problems occur. Access rights seem correct. System is std RH6.0 Samba 2.06 Regards Paul pcliff at zetnet.co.uk
