Problematic NMBD

Hi,
    I have 2 SAMBA servers running on Solaris Sparc platforms. My problem is that the NMBD daemon which does the name resolution service for SAMBA clients keeps dying after a few days/weeks and needs to be restarted. I start them as root using a modified version of the script found in the SAMBA O'Reilly book. Any advice/ideas? Thanks in advance. Merry Christmas and have a good year ahead.
