Ouch - definately sounds like a memory leak. We have been
running the pre-2.2.x builds of Samba though a leak/overrun
checker to fix such things.

I originally ran 2.0.7 through purify on IRIX to fix memory
leaks but it looks like I missed something in the printer
subsystem.

Do you have access to Purify on Solaris 2.6 ? That would
help track this down.
