samba-2.0.6 smbd problem on solaris 2.5.1?

I'm trying to upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.6 on a Solaris 2.5.1 machine.
2.0.3 worked fine.  2.0.6 gives me the following problems when
trying to start smbd:

 smbclient -L localhost -U%
added interface ip=134.27.6.22 bcast=134.27.6.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
session request to LOCALHOST failed (code 0)
session request to *SMBSERVER failed (code 0)

log.smb shows:
