host deny and wins

I have a setup where I'm denying access to certain hosts:

hosts allow = x.y.z.t/255.255.255.0 except x.y.z.u

This works, testparm reports access will be denied to all services
for x.y.z.u. The samba server is a wins server. Will access also
be denied to wins for this host?
