Failed logon to Samba PDC

Do you have this account in the Debian system as well?
I mean, in Debian's /etc/passwd or /etc/shadow? The same for the group.

Good morning, I have problem with logon to Samba
2.0.5a (Debian 2.0.36).
Samba is setting like PDC, I have created account carrot
in smbpasswd. Logon doesn't work, in log file is following
message:

  Couldn't set effective gid to 1003 currently set to
(real=0,eff=0)

  Can't become connected user!
