SMBLib

I am attempting to get SMBLib working under AIX.  Before I spend much effort
doing so, I was wondering if:

1.  Anyone has already done so.
2.  If a newer/better alternative to SMBLib-0.50 is available?

I am attempting to use SAMBA to connect from the AIX machine to the user's
PC in order to access files on the PC (previously set up as shared
resources).
