browse list <> wins list

hi all
does anybody know what's wrong when a computer is in the wins.dat file and
not in the browse.dat file? that machine is using samba 1.9.17 and its
config is exactly the same (under browsing point of you) of machines that
appear in both list. it can be found typing its address/resource path, but
no way i can make it show in the browse list.

what am i missing?
