Erronous disk full message

My users are also getting similar disk full messages.  They're using
NT4.

They have the right permissions to write to a particular directory...and
for whatever reason, they can't.  It's inconsistent when it strikes.

Is there a process number in the logfile that I can use to follow a
thread?  There are some log entries that stretch 2 lines.  I would
rather have all the associated info on 1 line so that I can grep it out.
