Samba 2.0.3 and NT Clients

When the world was young, Marco.Schwarz at freudenberg.de carved some

NT4SP3 has a new "feature" that causes this behavior.  From the 
samba doc WinNT.txt:

> The other major ramification of this feature of NT is that it can't
> browse a user level non-encrypted server unless it already has a
> connection open. This is because there is no spot for a password
> prompt in the browser window. It works fine if you already have a
> drive mounted (for example, one auto mounted on startup).

Try mounting a share as a local drive (from an NT command prompt) 
with the Net Use command and then try browsing.  And don't forget 
to read the docs...
