errors in testparm

All,

I installed samba-1.9.18p10 first time on my UNIX Solaris 2.6 version.  My
PC on the network can see my UNIX machine on the network but can't login.
When I tested the samba's installation using testparm, I got the following
message:

params.c:OpenConfFile() - Unable to open configuration file
"...../lib/smb.conf":
    Too many open files
