Different username under 95?

Hi,

Regarding the recent discussion on this, is there a way Samba could be
modified so that if the share name requested had (say) a percent or colon
in it, Samba would take the text after that and use it as the username
and the text before as the share name? (You can work out the rest...)

That would at least allow 95 to mount share names under a different
username when using Samba (the SMB server of choice ;-), even if not NT.
