WINNT Service pack 3 and samba

Dear Samba Sig,
I just get my new PC with the sevice pack 3 installed on it.  We are
running samba version 16 on the unix (sunos hpux).  I am having
problem connecting to the unix machine.  I do get the login dialog
box, when I enter user name, passwd, it returns with the following
message:

\\node_name is not accesible.
The account is not authorized to login from this station.

I was wondering if this is due to the fact that service pack 3 
package is installed on this machine or if it has to do with
samba software.  Please advise
