Encrypted passwords work on 1.9.17 but not on 1.9.18alpha

Hi,

I have a weird situation here:

Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with service pack 3. I have Samba
configured to use encrypted passwords so Windows NT can login into
Samba servers. Well, the stuff works with 1.9.17p2 but not with
1.9.18alpha11. The smb.conf file is the same on both cases and the server
and the client are the same (the only thing different is the Samba
version).

Oh!!! Another difference: 1.9.17 is compiled against libc5 and
1.9.18alpha is compiled against libc6. I guess that's a _big_
difference; I hadn't thought about this!

Anyone with the same problem? Commenst? Advice?
