can you run a packet trace (or record the appropriate sections of log.nmb 
and log.smb at debug log level 5: packet trace for preference), describe
exactly what the problem is, and send it to samba-bugs?

may i suggest contacting support at thursby.com?  i'm sure you're the second
person to ask this (one about three weeks ago or so), and i've been trying
it here at the cafe, too.
