Samba 2.2.8-20050817 on 7.3-2 problems with file dates and v ersioning

This is completely normal. The date displayed by Windows Explorer is the
modification date, and Samba voluntarily keeps the original creation date of
the file.

Hi,

When I modify file with Windows programs (Wordpad, Notepad, Editplus) and
save it, file modify date is changed in Windows Explorer. However when check
file date on vms side, it hasn't changed, on revised date is. Also there is
no new version of file created. Any thoughts?
