Scripting task to improve reading of documentation on VMS

The HTML documentation as provided by SAMBA can not be read on VAX or 
ALPHA with current browsers, as VAX does not support multiple dots in a 
filename, and Mozilla does not either, even on ODS-5.

Nor can the documentation be stored on strictly compliant ISO9660.

If someone is not up to C programming, maybe they can come up with a script.

Or even port DOCBOOK and find a way to get it to produce more friendly 
documentation.
