Samba nmbd Error opening primary input file SYS$INPUT

When starting nmbd, I get this message:

edit nmbd_startup.log
    1       Error opening primary input file SYS$INPUT


I can use the logicals; but here is my root logical:

 "SAMBA_ROOT" [exec] = "$1$DUA700:[mycomputer_SAMBA.]"
[concealed] (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE)
