SAMBA and ActiveX

I can't see how ActiveX could interact with a Win2K - to - Samba transfer at
all.

However, I seem to recall there have been various problems with transferring
*big* files to/from some versions of Samba-VMS.

But now I'm puzzled - there hasn't ever been a Samba version 1.4 (or not for
hundreds of years anyway ;-) so could you clarify the Samba version for us
please ?

It's likely to be 1.9.17p4, or 2.0.3, or 2.0.6, or 2.2.4 (as per Jean-Yves
Collot's recent announcement).
