Samba 2.4.4 - smbd

 In order to run SAMBA_ROOT:[BIN]SMBD_STARTUP.COM with no errors
I had to modify the two defines of TMP and TMPDIR to "''tmpdir'".
 Now:
$ smbd -id 1
smbd version 2.2.4 started.

Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error bad address)
Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error bad address)
getpeername failed. Error was system system service failure exception,
 status=!xl, pc=!xh, ps=!xl
$
 With debug level 3 the vicinity of this error looks like:
Open file "/samba_root/var/locks/connections.tdb"  ->
 "/samba_root/var/locks/connections.tdb"
getpeername failed. Error was system service failure exception,
 status=!xl, pc=!xh, ps=!xl
Open file "/samba_root/private/SAMBA.NUK.mac"  ->
 "/samba_root/private/SAMBA__2ENUK.mac"
vms_stat: st = -1, mode = 075356
          size = 8
$
 Is there a way out?
