this list and most other mailing lists.  It more than triples the size 
of the message and presents the readers of the digest mode of mailing 
list with pages and pages of unreadable trash to read through.


Plain text is the only form of e-mail communication that is universally 
acceptable.

If you do not know how to set your mail program to plain text, and it's 
online help is deficient, then a search of the internet or contacting 
the vendor of the mail program should produce the instructions.
