Hi,

> Does anyone know what is status of smb direct (RDMA) currently ? is it avaliable for testing?

I have some work in progress code here:

For the kernel module:
https://git.samba.org/?p=metze/linux/smbdirect.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/smbdirect-work-in-progress

And this tiny branch for the Samba part:
https://git.samba.org/?p=metze/samba/wip.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/master3-smbdirect

I'm able to read and write files using smbclient against a Windows 2012
R2 server.
(But without the optimized RDMA read/write yet)

This is just a spare time project without funding currently.
