the release planning for 4.7 has been updated:

* Samba 4.7.0: Tuesday, September 5 2017
* Samba 4.7.0rc4: Monday, August 28 2017 (if needed)
* Samba 4.7.0rc3: Tuesday, August 15 2017 (if needed)
* Samba 4.7.0rc2: Tuesday, July 25 2017
* Samba 4.7.0rc1: Tuesday, July 4 2017

has been updated accordingly.

So there are 3 weeks left until branching. Please make sure that
important changes will be submitted in time and please update the
release notes with relevant information as soon as possible.
