Yes, that would definitely do it. A few lp_parm calls per db
connect is certainly fine.

Not sure. These parameters are really, really special use
only. I'm even uncertain about the locktime warn threshold
thing. Should this show up in official docs? I don't know.
Every parameter takes space in the services array.
