I think we're maybe confusing SID and RID in this thread?
I think perhaps you want to say something like, 'if the administrator
account does not have a RID of 500...'
Do please clarify if we're wrong, but we don't think:
SID = -500
is ever true.
IOW:
SID-500 = domain administrator
