Hello Lazar,

I fully agree with the concept of Debian package stability but Samba4 is
not a good example in this case. Developers @ Samba4 have very strict and
test extensive process of bringing a stable version. Their code is
extremely portable and well written. So stability is top priority even to
features.

When I say breeze I am not kidding. We were group of guys here that were
developing Samba4 2 years ago, back then it was Alpha15. Deploying Samba4
from source on Debian is child's play and has nothing to do with the
experience of other software.

Literally what you do is follow the setup how-to:
1. Install prerequisites such as make, autoconf, python-dev etc
2. ./configure && make
3. Become root => make install
4. Provision your AD
5. If you feel like set up a Bind9 DNS

This is it. I guarantee you because I've done it at least 3 times a day
regularly. Have in mind that I was doubfull of source installation also
before having to do it with Samba4.
