[PATCH] Volume serial number

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me the status of this patch.  Although the thread seems to indicate that it was applied back in 2005 to both samba 3 and samba 4, I have not been able to use this feature successfully in the any of the Samba servers I have setup which prevents me from running some software that relies on the "volume id" for licensing issues.
