running nmbd standalone.
   You should start 'samba' instead, and it will control starting the internal 
nbt server


I think this was disabled because of a good reason. I'll tell the users they 
can't use the network neighbourhood during the next time. I think, it should 
be no big deal. The users only have to learn to connect via \\servername :-)
