I'm wondering about suggesting moving this a week closer?

We have made a *lot* of progress in the last few days, as I think I've
got fixes for the bugs attached to
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9342 in my GPO patches from
the past two days.

The Heimdal bug https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9388 is
tricky, but if we had to do a release with system Heimdal disabled, and
come back to fixing it, I don't think it would be the end of the world.
I'm hoping I can get some time to sort this out with Jelmer however -
now we have it narrowed down to which ABI difference is biting us.

Of the remaining bugs, my personal view is that the only real blocker is
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8969 and so I've assigned
this to obnox. I may have a go at the FreeBSD part of that, as I've got
a VM I use. I'm most concerned about the AIX part of this, and anything
that shows up after the other build failures are sorted.

There are other bugs assigned as blockers, and I'm sure the owners or
reporters feel passionately about them, but there is always 4.0.1 or
4.1, and I think it is important to get to a release (and give us clear
air to deal with any other issues raised in the final sprint).
