By the way, metze and obnox were aware that I was about to
push that revert. I did not explicitly ask for an ack, but I
did ask metze to stop an autobuild on top of the serverid
patches. So at least metze was aware. I did not explicitly
ask him for permission to push my patch, but he did not
complain either. I would say this is enough of ack.
