Windows users in new samba domain creates new profile

I have just create a site with a Samba DC joined to a Windows 2003 server domain, and everything went fine until the day before when some users found a clean desktop because Windows has create a new profile in "Documents and Settings" and updated the registry entry where it is stored. Changing the reg seems to fix it, but I will wait some days. 

Someone in the same case?
