ncurses is not part of the Samba project. The title of this email
references nmbd. Please clarify which code you are referring to.

The individual authors and copyright owners can be determined from
our git history. Samba nmbd is a collective work. However, all
contributors do so under the terms of the license described below.

There was no attached license in your message. The
current version of Samba nmbd is available under the
terms of the GPLv3 license, which can be read here:
