This seems highly unlikely.

Steve,

Please calm down, and work with us on this.

I'll work with you and others to find the source of the segfault, why it
wasn't found in our automated testing, and how to test it in future.
I'll the provide you with a patched version of Samba to run.  

Does simply reinstalling the previous version not work?

Did you upgrade all your DCs to beta7 at once, or do you have other DCs
running a previous working version?
