Is it avialabkle on 3.5.* version or 3.x versions ?

is it a directive in smb.conf ?

winbind max clients=xxxx

On a current version of Samba, you can increase the winbind connection
count, which will increase the number of ntlm_auth processes you can
have.

See 'winbind max clients'.
