v3-5-test tree open - please keep up to date !

Hi everyone with commit access.

Karolin has sync'ed the master tree
over to v3-5-test for the final time
before 3.5.0 release.

Plesae remember to check in fixes to
both master and v3-5-test until Karolin
cuts the first pre-release, at which time
we'll be going into bugfix only (via Karolin)
mode.
