That looks great!  Tridge beat you to the punch to get this in the tree
(he made and pushed the same patch just now), but thankyou for trying,
and for getting it in the right format with git. 

Only one other point:  because you posted this via the nabble gateway,
the attachment appears as a link back to nabble.  It would be helpful if
you were able to post it directly, as then we have an independent record
of what you submitted (much more important for more significant
patches).
