posix ldap authentication in samba 4

I wonder if it would be possible to convert the schema from openldap.
I'm not that familiar with how samba manages its schemas, so it may
not be straightforward.
Also, there's the other issue of filling in the needed posix
information. It would be great if samba, or some scripts could manager
UIDs,GIDs, group mappings, filling in the needed info when a new user
is created etc...
I've heard that samba4 can use python for scripting. Would it be
possible to create some scripts that would do this?
