[Release Planning 3.4] Delaying 3.4.4 again?

Hey folks,

Samba 3.4.4 is scheduled for January 7, 2010.

The following blockers currently exist:

(Add Printer fails with 0x000006f7 on Windows 7)

(REGRESSION: printing support for 64 bit windows clients broken)

("Too many open files" when trying to access large number of files)

As there are only two days left until the branch will be frozen, I guess
these blockers won't be fixed/changed in time. A lot of important fixes
have been added since Samba 3.4.3 and therefore, I would argue against
delaying another time in this particular case.

Excerpt from current release notes of the upcoming Samba 3.4.4 release:

-----8<------------------snip--------------8<--------------
o Fix interdomain trust relationships with Win2008R2 (bug #6697).
o Fix Winbind crashes when queried from nss (bug #6889).
o Fix "UID range full" error in Winbind (bug #6901).
o Fix multiple LDAP servers in "idmap backend" and "idmap alloc
     backend" (bug #6910).
----->8------------------snap-------------->8--------------

So I would prefer to ship anyway. Are there any objections?

Cheers,
Karolin
