libsmbclient changes to merge to pre2 release

Hi Karolin,

The libsmbclient changes are ready to be merged into the pre2 release.
 (Note for all: this is now back to both ABI and API compatible.  The
fields in the context structure which should not be touched by apps
any more are marked as "deprecated" and generate warnings, but still
work as they always have.)

Karolin, I don't know how you're doing the merge.  These are the
