Bug in Samba 3.0.25c when setting ACLs via XP Client GUI

I've opened bugzilla 4929 for a problem I've found when adding new users to
an ACL from the Windows XP client GUI in certain situations.  I found that
the owning group permissions are changed when unrelated changes are made.
Complete details with a level 10 log are in the bugzilla report.  Can
someone take a look and confirm this is a bug?
