Samba PHP hosting

Please forgive me if I'm in the wrong spot.  I am interested to know if it is
possible to host PHP files on a Samba server?  Specifically, I have a
Simpleshare NAS device which I know runs Samba and I wondering if there
would be a means to hack into it so that it would host PHP files for WAP. 
I'm thinking of the Wapscout.php product.  Thanks.
