impact of CP850/IBM850 support missing?

Is this an issue that the filename displayed by the someone on the host
operating system will look differently than the filename on a SAMBA Client?

If so, then the impact is cosmetic.

If it is a case that the file can not be accessed or created by the
SAMBA client, then I need to find a way to make this work.
