Just for your information: We've abstracted the Samba acl
handling so that we can sanely handle NFSv4 ACLs, in our
case for AIX JFS2 and GPFS. The conceptual mapping is done
in a generic module, and plugging this into your API should
be simple.
Expect Samba checkins next week.
